That's the call I got last night from my mom.
We've talked several times about me going up again for a visit, but nothing finialized.
Last night she called and said to come soon...
She's losing feeling in her lower limbs...
Oh God...
I've booked the trip and will be leaving On Friday, May 2nd for a week.
I'm taking Claudia and leaving Lorenzo home with my husband.
I'm praying for one last chance to make memories and spend some quality time with my mom.
I can't believe this is happening, I wonder when the shock will wear off.

praying for you! praying for all of you!
I am praying for you all Jenny.
I hope you can really cherish these days with your wonderful mother. You are blessed to have her. I've read a bit on her blog and she sounds amazing. I only wish I had half her faith (and yours!).
God Bless
Oh, Jennifer! What a hard to call to receive, but I know that you will cherish this time with your family. I will keep praying for you all!
Thank for your well wishes and prayers. They lift me up and give me hope and courage!
I just want to say we are all praying for you and all your family and Mom.
My heart hurts for you all sooo much, but God will help and sustain you every step of the way. God Is Faithful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jennifer, your mom has obviously passed her deep faith on to you. You, in turn, are passing it to others through your posts here. It's the hardest form of ministry ever, and it must feel surreal.
Go home and make those memories. Hug her tight and tell her everything that's on your heart. She needs to hear it and you need that release. Many are praying for your visit, and when you feel unable to pray, remember that Jesus intercedes for you, now and always.
Jennifer..
Just wanting to let you know I think of you daily, and send my prayers with you and your family!
I pray that you and Claudia have a safe flight and that you have a beautiful week with your mother and father!
Take care of you and you have many people out there praying for you!

I think one of my favorite verses in the Bible is Romans 8:26: "For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
When the words are no longer there, know that you are not alone, and that God knows your heart because the Holy Spirit is speaking to Him for you.
Wrap your arms around her and hold her, just as Jesus holds you!
Praying for you, your kids, and all your family.
