It's time

Wednesday night as I was reading my Bible I found my mom listed in there. No, her name Kristy Dykes wasn't written but if you read Proverbs 31 Epilogue: The Wife of Noble Character you will find her.

Last week I felt the Lord whisper into my heart the words Rise Up. It's time to Rise Up. So Wednesday night I looked up the words Rise Up in the Bible and here is what I found.

Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her

As my sister and I sat in the ICU waiting room Thursday afternoon we started to cry out "what are we going to do?" In my spirit cried the words rise up. So I shared with her what we're going to do as her children.

It's time to rise up and be everything our mother has taught us to be. All the training, all the diligent guiding she's given since the time we were born until becoming young ladies. It's time to rise up and become what she knew all along was inside us. So much wisdom she has given us, little nuggets here and there. I'm going to make my mother proud. This isn't going to destroy me, it's going to make me stronger. My mother is going to come alive in me, her words, her training... I'm going to strive all my life with the sweet help of Jesus to Rise Up.

This is beautiful - Kristy has inspired the same thing in me too!

The ACFW has started a 24/7 prayer chain for a miracle for Kristy and for your whole family. If any of your readers want to participate, please send me an email at tracyruckman@yahoo.com and I'll add you to the list. We're scheduling prayer in 15 minute increments, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so let me know in your email the day(s) and time(s) you'll be praying.

May God send Kristy a miracle.

Don't Give up!!! You should go for an alternative holistic medicine. I read the article on Ruta 6 and the Dr. in India. The Lord has given us the natural remedies for medicine. You don't have nothing to loose. In addition we are fighting this battle in prayer with you and your family. You are note alone."When life knocks you to your knees, you are in the best position to pray"

Jennifer, I want you to know how very proud I am of you. Your mother would be extremely proud of your wisdom and understanding of God's Word! You have realized what so many children have missed. I love you dearly and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hi Jennifer, this is another Jennifer in Orlando! My parents are also pastors in Florida and my mom and I cried together yesterday, as she told me about your mothers magnificent life and accomplishments and her recent news. I've been thinking about her and wondering if she had a best friend daughter relationship like my mom and I have -- only to discover she does and her name is Jennifer too!

Your story is alot like mine as well, I'm 28 and was raised to know the truth, made wrong decisions, then experienced total complete in-love with Jesus re-committment a few years later after highschool. It happened to me in June 2000. I'm praying for your strong Prov. 31 Mother, and will especially remember you and your your other siblings.

"RISE UP!" is also my LIFE ANTHEM!!! I say those words almost daily! It is my all time sermon to young people! Rita Springer sings a song, you may have heard that epitomizes that concept...find it on I-tunes, download it, if you havent. Here's the lyrics:

RISE UP
by Rita Springer

I am blessed among the people
I am blessed among the Nations
I am blessed because I am loved by You
I am loved and highly favored
Saved by the grace of a Mighty Savior
I am blessed because I am loved by You

Bridge:
No weapon formed against me will prosper
No curse can ever take His promises from me
When hope is gone and the darkness has fallen
I will still believe, I will still believe

Chorus:
I will rise up
I will rise up
I will rise up and call myself blessed

Faithful Love and Prayers,

We are proud of you. You probably don't me , you may have heard of the Rock and Charlene Rawls. we have been friends of the Roberts family since 1957. My heart was blessed when you said it was time to Rise up and be everything your mother taught you to be. I know from experience the last 17 months has been the toughtest time ever in the Rawls faqmily. My wife Charlene had a kidney tranplant and open heart surgery in one week and suffer a major stroke Dec the 31th. My two daughters Renee and Pam has rose up and been by our side during this time. Our hearts has been blessed, we are trusting God for her complete healing. We are holding up your family in our prayers. We don't understand why these thing happen. But we do know who is in control and we know he able.
